Fletcher was diagnosed with FD on May 22, 2006. He was first on Vetsulin/Caninsulin and never needed more than 2U BID. He went into remission 36 days after diagnosis. Fletcher was in remission for over three months, and then suddenly needed insulin -- lots of it! And over time, he just seemed to keep needing more...

Fletcher was diagnosed with acromegaly on 01/27/07, which accounts for his weight gain and need for high doses of insulin....
