Reesecup1 18:10, October 14, 2010 (UTC), I have noticed a darkening in the fur around her eyes and nose. Thankfully her eyes are still clear and vision remains good. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their pet and if it was related to the disease. Thanks - Dee, Sewell
My poodle is a diabetic and is going blind, he has had the disease for about three years and he is going on10 years old, the vet said that a diabetic dog can go blind but would know his surrounding. my dog gets insulin twice a day and he is doing well on it.
